I think Charlee is so good in front of the camera because she's half French. I say Oui! Oui!

Are you kidding me? Her skin is perfection! And she's seventeen! Not fair at all! I'm nearly 26 and still have acne! Her skin is just heavenly!

Bill & Kay

These are my adorable grandparents.  They were visiting all the way from Houston Texas.  A couple of days before their departure, my Grandpa called me and said that he would love some portraits of his sweet wife.  I happily obliged! We scheduled the time and place and were ready for photos!  The day came and when I saw my Grandpa, he said  "I could hardly sleep last night! I was so excited for you to take photos of Kay!"  I thought that was darling. 

It's not hard to take a beautiful photo when you have a beautiful subject with beautiful light.

My Grandpa the jokester always makes her laugh. 

This is the most adorable thing I have ever heard:

My Grandpa told my Grandma that he was so excited to have a beautiful portrait of her.  She said "Well why didn't you do it when I was 40?" And he stopped dead in his tracks, looked her square in the eye and said "Because you are more beautiful now than you have ever been!  And you weren't half bad when I married you at 16 and a half!!"

I have to tell you how much I enjoyed this shoot! Natural photos of a natural family in a natural setting (the home) with natural light.  It was so wonderful.  I am not too much of a fan of anything gimmickey (overly done props, poses, backdrops, and editing) so Kathy really felt my style and I'm so glad she suggested we do this shoot in the home.  That's how day to day life is, and that's how the memories will be, so that's how the photos should be.  They were so wonderful to photograph, and hopefully next time we can get Dad (who was away) in on the action!

A little something special...

This gorgeous gal wanted to do something very special and unexpected for her husband for their 10 year anniversary! (How sweet!) She wanted to show him that she's his, and his alone. This just goes to show that you don't have to be a "supermodel" to have the most amazing images of yourself for yourself and your spouse. They turned out beautiful, and tasteful.  Her husband is going to love these when he gets his leather-bound album of these gems on his anniversary!
