Bill & Kay

These are my adorable grandparents.  They were visiting all the way from Houston Texas.  A couple of days before their departure, my Grandpa called me and said that he would love some portraits of his sweet wife.  I happily obliged! We scheduled the time and place and were ready for photos!  The day came and when I saw my Grandpa, he said  "I could hardly sleep last night! I was so excited for you to take photos of Kay!"  I thought that was darling. 

It's not hard to take a beautiful photo when you have a beautiful subject with beautiful light.

My Grandpa the jokester always makes her laugh. 

This is the most adorable thing I have ever heard:

My Grandpa told my Grandma that he was so excited to have a beautiful portrait of her.  She said "Well why didn't you do it when I was 40?" And he stopped dead in his tracks, looked her square in the eye and said "Because you are more beautiful now than you have ever been!  And you weren't half bad when I married you at 16 and a half!!"

Sarah & Jake

This is Mrs Sarah Knight of Sarah Knight Photography, and her husband Jake.  I met Sarah at Skip's Summer School this summer.  I have a whole other post that I will blog about her and Hayley and how amazing it was to meet and become such great friends with them.  Seriously, I could go on for centuries.  Instead, here are Sarah's photos from her downtown photo shoot.

Here is Sarah, Jake, and their beloved dogs Lucy and Charlie.  

Sarah is one of the most fun girls I know, and has the best laugh in the world.  And the best news of all is that Jake has a way of making her laugh like no one else.

This isn't typically my style, but Sarah loves putting something beautiful next to something grungy, so I did this just for her. And I ended up really liking it!

Paulina & Kyle

It was the most beautiful October day.  I was so lucky to be a guest at this wedding.  Their ceremony was one of the most beautiful I've ever been to.  Paulina was absolutely radiant and by the expressions on Kyle's face, he seems so ecstatic that she's his.  Here are a few photos from their day.

Bri & Steve in Moab

Ok, I have been on some wickedly fun photoshoots, but I'll tell you what...this shoot was F-U-N!!!  Bri and Steve were such an amazing couple to work with.  Their love towards each other just flows freely which makes them absolutely stunning in front of the camera.  When you add an amazing dress with gorgeous scenery, beautiful clouds, and a little wind to the mix, you have a very happy Kate, and hopefully a very happy couple (and mother of the bride).  Here are a few more of Bri and Steve.  Enjoy!

Mark & Jess

Mark and Jess are so great together.  Their personalities compliment each other like no other.  They are both such brainiacs! Jess is a statistics queen, and the stuff she talks about is completely over my head.  I'm like "Slow it down! Math 1030/Quantitative Reasoning is as high as I go." Mark is an engineering genius. He told me that for his current job they are working on building a satellite!  I thought brainiacs weren't supposed to be this good lookin!  Not only are they smart, and lovely, but they photograph quite well too.
